Pediatricians as well as the NICHD Safe to Sleep® Campaign recommend placing babies on their backs to sleep, especially during the first 12 months. Most families flip their mattresses when their babies start to cuddle up on their sides and sleep, between 18 and 24 months or when you feel your child is developmentally ready.

Yes! The TEMPUR-Dream™ Baby Crib Mattress will safely fit all standard size cribs and toddler beds so you can use it for years.

The Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-Dream™ Baby Crib Mattress follow the ASTM guidelines for proper sizing. They are 51.63 inches x 27.3 inches x 5.5 inches for a perfect, snug fit in your crib or toddler bed. Your product will come shipped in a slightly larger box, so you may see a larger dimension on some web sites, but rest assured, the crib mattress will fit the standard crib and toddler bed of your choice.

When your Tempur-Pedic® TEMPUR-Dream™ Baby Crib Mattress arrives, the CozyFresh™ zip off cover is shipped with the white side on the toddler/TEMPUR-Response® memory foam side. The gray side is the firmer/infant side. You can zip off the CozyFresh™ fabric cover and use the white fabric or the gray fabric side, whichever you prefer as both sides are waterproof soft knit fabrics.

There is a tag sewn into the extra inner waterproof protective encasement that clearly identifies the infant/firmer side and toddler/TEMPUR-Response® memory foam side. This way, when you wash your CozyFresh™ zip off cover, then you can clearly identify which side is the infant side and which side is the toddler side when you are ready to put the zip off cover back on.

Yes! Infants and toddlers need a safe place to sleep even while their mattress cover is in the wash! It is also important to fully dry the cover before putting it back onto the mattress. That’s why the TEMPUR-Dream™ Baby Crib Mattress was designed with an extra waterproof protective encasement.

Your baby can safely use the crib mattress while the CozyFresh™ cover is in the wash. Simply add your crib pad and crib sheet over the inner encasement and use as normal. The inner encasement should not be removed from the mattress. Only the CozyFresh™ fabric zip off cover should be removed for washing and drying.

First, remove the white and gray fabric from each other by fully unzipping the mattress cover. The 360° design allows each side to separate for easier cleaning and care.

For best results, hand wash and line dry.

Since parents are very busy, we also made the CozyFresh™ Cover machine washable. Wash on gentle cycle in cold water. Do not bleach. Do not use bedding settings on newer washing machines that use hot water. Use cold water setting on the gentle cycle only. Do not wash with other laundry that may be abrasive.

After washing, we recommend you squeeze out excess water by hand. Due to the plushness of the CozyFresh™ cover design, there may be excess water in the cover from some machines. The waterproof backing will also be damp as it is designed to be a waterproof barrier.

Line dry for best results. Air dry or tumble dry low when needed. Do not use medium or high heat settings in a dryer, and do not let the mattress cover rest on a hot dryer drum.

Do not iron or dry clean.

Only the Tempur-Pedic® TEMPUR-Dream Baby Crib Mattress is made with the very best certified materials inside and out. Inside you will find two exclusive foams including the TEMPUR-Response® memory foam material. This is a light and airy memory foam that provides perfect contouring comfort for your growing toddler. The infant side is a premium high-density foam also made with certified materials. It is surrounded by a protective layer featuring cotton and a waterproof and allergy barrier.

The foam materials are made in the USA in Virginia and the entire assembly is in North Carolina, USA.

Infant and toddlers can be messy so for the convenience of cleaning, we recommend using a fitted crib mattress pad that is waterproof. This will help keep the beauty and freshness of your crib mattress longer. If the crib mattress gets dirty, it’s washable so it is still convenient for cleaning should you decide not to use a crib pad.
